RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Infotech Technologies NZ Limited, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fair and transparent return procedures.
This policy operates in accordance with applicable New Zealand laws, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Manufacturer Warranty
Where Infotech Technologies does not manufacture the goods (or publish software), products are supplied with the benefit of the manufacturer’s or publisher’s warranty, unless otherwise stated.
Infotech Technologies will assist customers with warranty claims; however, liability for defective goods is limited to the extent that we are able to claim from the manufacturer or supplier for:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Credit
- Refund
Warranty Conditions
The warranty does not cover defects caused by:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse, negligence, or improper handling
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- External causes (e.g., power surges, environmental damage)
- Failure to pay for goods supplied
Change of Mind Returns
We may accept returns for change of mind under the following conditions:
- Return request must be made within 7 days of delivery
- Product must be:
- Unused
- In original condition
- In original packaging with all accessories
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the invoice value.
Faulty or Defective Products
If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described:
- You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with New Zealand consumer law
- We will work with the manufacturer or supplier to resolve the issue
- You must notify us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the fault
Return Process (RMA Required)
- Contact us at info@infotechtechnogies.co.nz to request a return
- If approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Clearly mark the RMA number on the returned package
- Include a full description of the fault or reason for return
⚠️ Important:
- Returns must be received within 5 working days of RMA issue
- Returns without an RMA will not be accepted
Return Shipping Costs
- Customers are responsible for return shipping and insurance costs, unless the product is confirmed faulty or incorrect
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by law
Inspection & Processing Time
- Returns are processed within 10 working days of receiving the product
- All items are inspected upon return
Non-Faulty Returns (Working Condition)
If returned goods are found to be in working condition:
- A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply
- Higher fees may apply if:
- Items are used
- Accessories are missing
- Original packaging is damaged or missing
All such charges will be communicated to the customer.
Refunds
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing time may take 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider
Important Notes
- Infotech Technologies reserves the right to assess all returned goods before approving refunds or replacements
- This policy does not limit your rights under New Zealand consumer law
